Community Benefit/ Charity Involvement
At Priory Bridge, we’re as proactive as possible within the community areas we work in.
Recently some of the Community Benefit Areas we have worked in Partnership with include Park Lea & East Kilbride Hospice by giving supervised work experience in ground preparation, seeding, planting and fencing.
Luss Primary School, where we donated and installed an arbour and gate to enhance the play area and provide security for the children.
South Lanarkshire Football Academy was sponsored by us while their football strips were supplied by the team at Priory Bridge. Bibs were also supplied to our local school, Underbank Primary’s’ Netball team. This has greatly increased their motivation and created a close nit team spirit for the youngsters.
We landscaped the over grown rear garden area of Cairns Church in Cambuslang for the Children’s Nursery so they could utilise the outdoor space. This was lottery funded. We built decked towers, sand pits, raised beds so the children could grow their own vegetables, installed small greenhouses and custom made tables and chairs.
Our company liaise with schools and training providers to offer work placement and training opportunities for young people.
Priory Bridge are also proud to have sponsored ROMAC – Ronald McDonald house
(3 years) and CHAS (21 years) and actively encourage staff, family and friends to participate in fund raising events that they hold. Sponsor Lanark and Renfrewshire point to point every year.
Raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK through Running 5K and Muddy 5k.
Priory Bridge like to work closely and advertise with Local Job Centres, Routes to Work Cambuslang, ITT Invergordon, The Shirley Project – Fort William, Ingeus Motherwell and Triage – Stirling where we have been involved in many Get ready for Work Programmes helping long-term unemployed people back to work.
