Estate Maintenance Contract

2014 saw the success of 3 Estate Maintenance Contract Awards for Craignethan, Elgin and Strathdon Historical Regional Sites. Each Estate Maintenance Contract was awarded for 2 years with Craignethan being extended until 2018.

HES – Historic Environment Scotland

We successfully Tendered and were awarded Stirling Castle Hire of Labour Contract July 2014 – June 2016, this was extended a further 6 months until December 2016. Our experienced, dedicated and professional teams carried out a variety of duties to help keep this Internationally Famous Scottish must see visitor attraction in pristine condition all year round.

PBL teams have worked on HES Sites for many years now and take great pride in working in such high profile Sites throughout Scotland, especially being able to highlight to their family, children and friends that they are responsible for the grounds maintenance at These Historical, Sites of Archaeological Interest & Visitor Attractions.

Works comprise of the upkeep and regular maintenance of open space areas of hard and soft landscaping. Works need to be very carefully executed as many sites have fallen stone and gravestones, so care needs to be taken whilst operating in these delicate areas.

Works include turf maintenance, tree, and shrub and hedge maintenance, weed control to soft and hard landscaped areas and litter collection.

Wishaw & District Housing Association Ltd

PBL successfully won the Tender for the 3 year contract in 2014 – 2016 and again in 2017-2019. There are 54 Areas within the scope of works covering Harthill, Shotts, Newmains, Cambusnethan, Coltness, Wishaw, Craigneuk and Netherton Districts.

Working closely with W&DHA Technical Service Team PBL have successfully provided and maintained a high standard and professional working relationship.

Our expert team of gardeners have executed the Services of this contract with minimal complaints over the 1^st 3 year Term allowing the company to Re-Tender and competitively win the Contract for another 3 year Term.

Works comprise of the upkeep and regular maintenance of communal open space and individual garden areas of hard and soft landscaping.

Works include turf maintenance, tree, and shrub and hedge maintenance, weed control to soft and hard landscaped areas and litter collection. Additional services required include fencing and play area repairs, void and garden clearances, installation of shrubs and bark.

Hillhead 2000 Housing Association Ltd

PBL successfully won the Tender Contract in 2016 and again in 2017.

Working closely with HHA Technical Service Team PBL have successfully provided and maintained a high standard and professional working relationship.

Our professional team have executed the Services of this contract with minimal complaints over the 1^st year Term allowing the company to have the Contract Extension granted.

Works comprise of the upkeep and regular maintenance of communal open space and individual garden areas of hard and soft landscaping. Works include turf maintenance, tree, shrub and hedge maintenance, weed control to soft and hard landscaped areas and litter collection. Additional services required include replacement of fencing & repairs and play area repairs, void and garden clearances, installation of shrubs and bark, slab repairs, new paths, turf, steps and patios.

We are actively involved in the Annual Garden Competition and Donate Prizes for the Winning Gardens.
